BKC started in Mumbai working only on mobile phone screens. It is registered in Karol Bagh, trades under four marks, and next April it turns ten.
The story
Choudhary Akash was born in Mumbai. He started working there, and in April 2017 he and his brother Choudhary Dinesh started BKC there, on screens alone.
In 2020 the market pushed them out. Moving to Delhi was not an easy decision and they have never described it as one, but Delhi is where the business grew: past displays into batteries, middle frames, housings and the fifteen small-part categories a repair actually runs on, and out from one city into distribution across India.
In 2026 they went back. BKC returned to the Mumbai exhibition as Diamond Sponsor with three stores already trading in the city and five more announced from the stage. The Delhi operation did not move; it is still the registered place of business and still where the stock sits.
What has not changed in either city is the thing the founder keeps putting first when he is asked what the business is for.

The move north
Market conditions force the business out of Mumbai. Delhi becomes home, the range widens past displays into batteries, frames and the small parts around a repair, and distribution goes national.

Where the panels come from.
Display assemblies are built in Shenzhen, on a line of eighteen stations, from panels sourced through BOE, Tianma, JDI and AUO. RISGOO is the manufacturing relationship behind the OLED and incell programmes, and it publishes its own destructive testing.
